About U.L.C.I.A

Since cannabis post-prohibition, there has been a noticeable lack of Latinos in an industry that has deep roots in both their culture and strong ties to their homelands. On a beautiful  Chicago day, a small group of industry leaders were discussing the need for more representation. That is how the United Latino Cannabis Industry Alliance  was born, out of a profound need to be represented in an industry that was built off the heritage and contributions made by migrants in the early 19th century when the United States government enacted the Marijuana Tax Act which purposefully targeted migrants south of the border.

The passion for cannabis culture, both past and present, drove this group to create an organization dedicated to the inclusion, betterment, support and education that our community needs in order to be a part of this fast-paced growing industry. Not only do we represent a part of the overlooked community within this sector, but our community also has the highest percentage of new business growth in the country. It makes little sense.

We know we are not alone in the passion for the plant, with its healing and restorative nature. That is why we ask that you align yourself with ULCIA to amplify our core mission and vision. Join us in writing our own story. Join us in reaping the benefits of one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Join us in becoming one of the most powerful voices in cannabis. Join us to be heard.
